Indian Railway’s Eastern Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Kolkata, has announced the recruitment of 3115 Apprentices in various trades for 2024-2025. Application Fee:
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹100/-
- SC / ST / PH / Female Candidates: No fee
- Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Class 10 High School / Matriculation with a recognized ITI / NCVT certificate in the relevant trade.
- Trade-wise eligibility details can be found in the official notification.
- Age Limit (as of 23/10/2024):
- Minimum Age: 15 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per RRC ER Apprentice rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
How to Apply for Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024:
- Registration:
- Candidates can apply online through the official portal between 24th September 2024 and 23rd October 2024.
- Documents Required:
- Recent passport-sized photograph
- Scanned signature
- ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
- ITI / NCVT Certificate and other educational documents
- Proof of address
- Application Process:

Selection Procedure:
The selection will be based on the merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the Class 10th examination and ITI certificate in the relevant trade. There will be no written examination for this recruitment.
